Questions about the official portals

Does it cost anything to check a BECE placement?

No. Checking a placement at cssps.gov.gh is free. Anyone charging you to check it is selling you something you can do yourself. We never ask for a candidate's index number and we do not check placements.

Why list other people's sites?

Because on the day placement is released, the official link is the only thing anybody wants, and a search for it returns a page of sites that are not it. Pointing you somewhere better than us costs us nothing and is the entire reason to trust the rest of this directory.

How do I know a link here is still right?

Every URL on this page was checked by hand on 8 October 2026 and the date is published rather than implied. Links rot. If one is dead, tell us and we will fix it.

Is my school's results portal here?

No. These are national bodies. An individual school's own portal, if it has one, belongs on that school's page, and a school can add it by claiming the page.
