It is Monday morning at Keystone Talent Partners, a staffing desk in Denver, and a coordinator named Maya opens her laptop to forty-one unread emails. One is from a hiring manager who needs a warehouse supervisor interviewed by Thursday. One is a candidate confirming a 2pm call. One is a rejection she has to send, kindly and clearly. She opens the applicant tracking system, checks the requisition against the intake brief, and moves three people forward because they meet the written must-haves. She does not decide who gets hired. She never does. She schedules, she screens against the criteria, she records what she finds, and she hands the decision to the recruiter and the manager. That is the job. On the other side of the same course, at Adaora Foods in West Africa, a coordinator is doing the same work in a different lane: posting a role, reading CVs against the brief, booking a panel, and keeping the employee file straight. I am your tutor, and I have run this desk. Over ten weeks you will learn the requisition, the screen, the schedule, the offer packet, the consent form, and the file. You will practise on both fictional desks, Keystone Talent for the US lane and Adaora Foods for the West Africa lane, so every rule is taught for the country it applies to. Training and certification do not guarantee employment. What they give you is the work, shown plainly, one ordinary Monday at a time. Before you decide, look at the numbers, and I will name every source. The US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in its Occupational Outlook Handbook, puts the median pay for human resources specialists at seventy-five thousand, nine hundred and forty dollars a year. The same handbook says about seventy-three thousand, seven hundred openings a year on average over the decade. That is the official picture for the occupation you are entering. Now the demand side, from a DataForSEO check run before this track was built. In the United States, six thousand, six hundred monthly searches for HR coordinator jobs. Nine thousand, nine hundred for remote recruiter jobs. In West Africa, one thousand, six hundred searches for CIPM certification. Those are searches, not vacancies, and I will not dress them up. They tell you people are looking for this work, and they tell you the remote lane is real. What they do not tell you is that you will get a job. Training and certification do not guarantee employment. What they tell you is that the skill is being asked for, in two markets, and that the certificate is worth having when you sit across from someone who needs the desk run properly. That is the honest case. The rest is the work itself. The job title says coordinator, and that word is accurate. You coordinate. You do not decide. At Keystone Talent Partners, the hiring manager writes the requisition and the intake brief. The recruiter owns the relationship with that manager and makes the call on who moves forward. You take the brief, you post the role, you read the CVs against the written must-haves, you run the structured phone screen, you schedule the panel, you send the messages, you keep the applicant tracking system true. At Adaora Foods, the same shape: the line manager sets the criteria, you screen against it, you book the interview, you record what happened. The line you never cross is the hiring decision. You do not choose who gets the job. You do not tell a candidate they are the preferred choice. You do not skip a written criterion because someone feels right. You screen against the brief, you record what you find, and you hand the decision to the person whose role it is to make it. That line protects the candidate, the employer, and you. It is also the line that makes the work teachable. When you are asked to cross it, you escalate. When you are asked to post a role that does not exist, you refuse and you record the refusal. The coordinator runs the process. The process decides nothing on its own. People decide, and you make sure they decide on the record. Now the honest part, because a course that takes ten weeks of your life should tell you plainly who it is for. This track is for beginners and career changers who want to run the desk: the requisition, the screening against written criteria, the interview scheduling, the offer packet, the onboarding file. It is for someone in the United States who already has the legal right to work there and wants the remote lane, and for someone in West Africa who wants to run hiring and HR administration for West African employers. That is the first pole. The second pole is who it is not for. It is not for anyone who wants the coordinator to be the decision maker. If you want to choose who gets hired, this is the wrong course, because the coordinator never makes that call. It is not for someone hoping the certificate itself opens a visa, a sponsorship or a relocation. It does not. The course trains skills and does not confer US work authorisation, and training and certification do not guarantee employment. It is not for someone who will not keep records, because the record is the work. And it is not for someone who wants shortcuts around consent or fair hiring, because we teach the rules as they are written and we do not bend them. If you are still here after that, you are in the right place. Here is how the ten weeks actually run, phase by phase. Weeks one through eight are lessons and quizzes. Each week opens with video lessons of about eleven minutes, then a quiz and a written assignment, and once a week you join a live class where we work through the week's questions together. The lessons are built on two fictional employers, Keystone Talent Partners for the US lane and Adaora Foods for the West Africa lane, so every rule is practised for the country it applies to. Then weeks nine and ten are the practicum. Six timed shifts, about two hours each, three on the Keystone desk and three on Adaora Foods. On those shifts the pipeline moves, a referral arrives, a scorecard goes missing, a candidat

Try the no-sign-up exercise ↗Most courses in West Africa teach you about a job. SchoolRegistry Academy makes you do it, inside a company built for your track, with your own work inbox, timed practicum shifts and marked work, until you have evidence an employer can check. On this track the company is Keystone Talent Partners and Adaora Foods, a fictional Denver staffing desk and a West African employer. You run requisitions, screens, scheduling and offers in both the US and West African lanes.
Every track trains inside a made-up company that behaves like a real one: real requests, real customers, real deadlines, real consequences. You are not watching someone else work; you are doing the work.
You work in the software the job actually uses, and a tools library inside your handbook holds the tutorials we checked ourselves.
Every student gets a real inbox on students.schoolregistryghana.com. Mail from your fictional workplace arrives there, including the ones that are traps, so you learn to handle a workday inbox before an employer hands you one.
After eight weeks of lessons you work timed shifts on your simulator, graded the way an employer would grade you. Some mistakes fail the shift outright, the same mistakes that get people fired.
Assignments are reviewed, returned with comments, and you resubmit until it is right. Certificates are only issued under the published rules: the required work done, tuition covered, an 80 percent overall result.
The Commons gives you rooms for your cohort, mentoring pairs, alumni opportunities and events. The Getting Hired course is included with every track. No job is promised; the evidence you leave with is real.
How the Academy teaches, in full
SchoolRegistry Academy’s Recruiting & HR Coordinator course is a ten-week online programme for beginners and career changers, taught in two lanes: the US remote coordinator desk and the West African HR officer desk. Classes are live on Ghana time, and a self-paced version starts any day. First, students learn who decides what in hiring, the intake brief, the funnel and the applicant tracking system. Second, students practise sourcing and screening against the brief, the structured phone screen, panel scheduling across time zones, offer packets, background-check consent, onboarding paperwork and employee files, on Keystone Talent, a fictional US staffing agency, and Adaora Foods, a fictional West African company. Third, tutor-reviewed assignments, a two-week practicum on both desks and a capstone create evidence of applied coordination judgment. Certification requires the published completion rules, full tuition coverage and an 80% overall result. The course does not promise employment, is not legal advice, and is not CIPM, SHRM or HRCI certification.

This is a foundation for coordination and HR administration; it is not legal, payroll or compensation advice. Employment is not guaranteed; role titles and hiring requirements vary by employer.

The SchoolRegistry Academy certificate proves you did the work: the ten weeks, a supervised practicum on both desks and a capstone with zero critical errors, verifiable by any employer on our public verification page.
In West Africa the professional body is CIPM, the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management, whose membership and examinations many West African employers look for. In the US, HRCI's aPHR is the entry-level HR credential and SHRM-CP the practitioner one. Week 1 and Week 8 explain what each is, what it costs and what it tests, so you can plan the next step with your own work as preparation.
Together they answer the two questions a hiring manager asks: can you do the work (our certificate, assessed), and does the profession recognise you (CIPM, aPHR or SHRM-CP). One proves the skill; the other proves the standing.
CIPM, HRCI and SHRM credentials are issued and governed by those bodies, not by SchoolRegistry Academy, and each carries its own fees and eligibility rules. We prepare you and explain the process; the bodies award the credential.

Both, and it says which is which in every lesson. The US lane trains you as a remote recruiting coordinator for a US employer or agency; the West African lane trains you as an HR or recruitment officer in a West African company. Rules are taught for the country they apply to, never blended.
