OET practice for nurses
Practice for nurses preparing for OET. All patients and cases are fictional. Use them for practice, not as a guide to the real test.
Reading, Part C style
A health article with eight multiple choice questions. Marked straight away, with the reason for each answer.
Listening: consultations, extracts and talks
Part A style consultations with note completion, Part B style workplace extracts and Part C style talks. Marked straight away.
Speaking: nurse and patient role-plays
Read the setting and your tasks, then answer each thing the patient says out loud. An AI assessor scores intelligibility, fluency, language and clinical communication. Costs three credits.
Writing: letters from case notes
Write a referral, discharge or transfer letter from a set of case notes. An AI marker scores six criteria and estimates a grade. Costs five credits.
Independent practice for nurses. Not affiliated with or endorsed by the owners of OET. Grades shown are estimates from practice material, not official OET results.
