See how it works

Each lesson has a practice computer beside it. You copy each step, and the course tells you when it is right. This is a real lesson, sped up.

A still from the clip: Write a web page and watch it appear as you type.

Write a web page and watch it appear as you type.

A video course: you watch. A SchoolRegistry short course: you do the task yourself on a practice computer, and the course checks it as you go.

Who it is for

Beginners who want to put a small business or a personal page on the web.

What you will be able to do

  • Build a one-page website with a name, services, prices and a photo
  • Add contact details and a WhatsApp link, and check the page on a phone
  • Publish it to a practice web address you can share

By the end you will have built a one-page website for a small business, with a name, services and prices, a photo, contact details and a WhatsApp link. You will make it look good, check it on a phone, and publish it to a practice web address you can share.

How it works

Each lesson starts with a short video. Tolu, your guide, shows you what to do and says it in plain words. You practise in a practice code editor, with Tolu guiding each step.

You work on a practice computer inside the course, so you cannot break anything. More than 75% of your time is hands-on practice, not watching.

Every lesson is split into steps, and a row of step bars shows where you are. If a step is too hard, press Skip and come back to it later.
